"Seven Basic Emotions in Wartime" by Asmati Chibalashvili, VUIAS fellow

IAS CEU is proud to share the recording of the performance "Seven Basic Emotions in Wartime," featuring musical pieces composed by Asmati Chibalashvili, VUIAS fellow. The performance took place during the event "Wartime Reflections", a project initiated by her in cooperation with the Ukrainian Association “Unity” (ЄДНІСТЬ) and realized with the support of the Civic Engagement, Arts and Culture Unit. The musical pieces are performed by Asmati Chibalashvili and Lia Chibalashvili, accompanied by seven paintings of Volodymyr Mukhin. The performance invited the audience to explore the seven basic emotions as mentioned in Paul Ekman's theory: fear, anger, joy, sadness, contempt, disgust, and surprise.
