VUIAS Fellows at the Institute for Advanced Study at CEU

The Institute for Advanced Study at Central European University supported by the Open Society University Network’s Threatened Scholars Integration Initiative propudly welcomes its new VUIAS Fellows in Academic Year 2023-2024. Virtual Ukraine Institute for Advanced Study was founded in 2023 by the Wissenschaftskolleg zu Berlin in cooperation with partner institutions from the US, Europe and Ukraine.

Statement in Support of Zoltán Ádám

We, members of the CEU Democracy Institute, the CEU Institute for Advanced Study and the Vera and Donald Blinken Open Society Archives, express our solidarity with Dr. Zoltán Ádám, recently dismissed from his position as associate professor of economics at Corvinus University. 

In refusing to examine a student who had not met the necessary requirements earlier this year, Dr. Ádám did the right thing.

The Institute for Advanced Study at CEU is sending former Botstiber Fellow, James Forsher its warmest congratulations on finishing his film about Paramount Studios co-founder Adolph Zukor. James Forsher worked on the film, The Hollywood Mogul Wars while he was a Botstiber Fellow in Budapest, in February-June 2023.
