Ein Laboratorium kreativer Nationalitatenpolitik

The exhibition "A laboratory of creative nationality policy. The idea of national-personal autonomy from the Habsburg Empire until today" will open on 14 February 2014 at the Vienna University Library. It deals with a solution to ethnic conflict that developed in the Austro-Hungarian Empire and was implemented in three provinces in the early 20th century. This exhibition does not only concentrate on the Habsburg Monarchy but also discusses how this idea was adapted during the interwar period and in which forms it is still existing today.
