Remembrance - exhibition of IAS alumna Chanee Choi

Chanee Choi, an IAS CEU Fall 2023 fellow and alumna, returned to Budapest, Hungary, in November 2024 to present a five-day exhibition of her Remembrance project from November 4 to 8. During her fellowship in 2023, she conducted research on Remembrance and was delighted to share her work at CEU’s Open Gallery in 2024. The exhibition showcased her ongoing Remembrance series, which began in 2019, including its three phases: Remembrance: Magma (2022), Remembrance: Coral (2023–2024), and the development of Remembrance: Passage. On November 7, she performed Remembrance, a brainwave-controlled video game where concentration drives the gameplay. Visitors also had the chance to experience the brain sensors and play the game on November 8, the final day of the exhibition.
