Caravans on the New Silk Road: Chinese Soft Power and the Hungarian Mafia State workshop

On 7 April we hosted the workshop "Caravans on the New Silk Road: Chinese Soft Power and the Hungarian Mafia State," bringing together leading Hungarian experts and internationally renowned scholars to explore the dynamics of Chinese influence-building in Hungary under the Orbán government.

The event provided a platform to rethink political, economic, socio-cultural, and institutional dimensions within a broader transnational and comparative context. The workshop fostered candid discussion and meaningful dialogue across disciplines and perspectives.
